    And you, are you a general in real life? Did I say youtube justifies everything? Show ANY EVIDENCE, VIDEO or TESTIMONIAL or EVEN ANECDOTAL that shows that this kind of thing is happening in China. Don't just say that because you assume that it is happening, therefore it must be! In the absence of any evidence, I can and will say this sort of childish stupidity is not happening in their training there.

    Huh ? Are you trying to make excuses here now ? We are talking about being LAUGHABLE here . You probably forgot that in war , the more numbers you have , the more casualties will be counted .
    In war, the more dilapidated your technology and the more retarded your training the more casualties will be counted.

    Lol .... well .... is CHINA and MALAYSIA also winning ?
    China has won many wars, they have captured Tibet and crushed the uprising there. Also the fact that they are in OUR territory and we can't do anything about it but send reconnaissance craft means they have already won the mental game. There's no way we can touch the oil, if any, that is in that territory. And do not forget that this territory is ours, so the fact that we can't do anything about it in our own territory is a huge embarrassment for our government and our military.

    Balik ta sa topic. Genius nga general man kaha mo. Just what does the training in the video do to prepare soldiers for captivity, what does it achieve Lashing people with belts for an hour is supposed to prepare them for being capture by the enemy? Hahaha.. uh no sir. If these soldiers get captured the game is already over. If let's say they get taken captive by Chinese soldiers, do you think they are going to be subjected to lashings by belt? I don't think so! I think they are gonna have hot pokers shoved up their ass and electric batons rammed down their throats. There ain't any training in the world that can help you resist that one, man! The best training is to avoid getting caught and to stop losing. But our army is only good at getting caught and losing =/

    @Pasayo: you are just mad because everything I say is true.

    @REPTOID ...

    And what makes that a GANGSTER ? Are you referring to BLOODS and CRIPS ? Psssssst ... sure oi . Unknowingly ... even in your very home , there is HAZING .

    I can give you a more HIGH PROFILE HAZING than that found all over the net .

    And what does that make you ? Are you only HOMEGROWN ? Banko ra ba diay ang involved sa ECONOMICS ?

    See .... I now understand why you are not buying the theory because you will never be in the same page of anticipation .with these men .

    Brutality , abuse of the sick and uncontrollable temper has nothing to do with preparedness to war . Its not even close to physically , spiritually and mentally ready .

    You are not even sure of that VIDEO being portrayed is as real as it gets ," ka remember ka ug movies na naay waiver like " no animals were harmed during the filming of the video " ?

    @BOGSCHESS ....

    Havent heard of it ?
    Unsa gud diay ni? top secret? naa cguro usa or lima ka snipers and we claim that they are one of the bests? typical pinoy mentality...

    Havent heard of it again ? As if you know everything about SWAGS that you disagreed with it . Try swimming from Manila Bay to Sangley Point , Cavite without any assistance in less than 3 hours aron makita ang katag .

    top secret na sad? if that is your basis, swimming from point A to point B, will make the navy swag one of the bests, then I respect your opinion.
    pero sa tinuod lang, your opinion is not convincing, it is a poor criteria.
    ngano hilom ka man about professionalsm and dicipline, which is a criteria that is important.
    I love that phrase "makita ang katag"...mura man ga palab wanay...hehehehe

    Actually .... mao ni ang naka nindot na ISTORYA kay di man jud katuohan kay walay YOUTUBE VIDEO man na basehan . Pero ... ang dakong pero ani .... ug naa kay YOUTUBE VIDEO ma post , it does make you credible ?

    kay ngano e top secret lagi...para sila lang kahibaw nga sila ang the best?

    Did I say the best ? I said one of the best . Did I say at par ? Sharing ug ideas during an 8 to 12 month stint somewhere in the deepest of jungles you can imagine in the Philippine Archipelago while you are sleeping and dreaming to be 1 in the comfort of your home . Ngano gud uroy mag sharing ? Unsa na BIBLE STUDY ?
    mao ba? Sharing is exclusive to Bible study?
    nag joint exercise diay imo pasabot? one of the bests na dayon?

    Everyone knows naay flaws and imperfections ang top brass sa AFP but they are not AFP itself . There are still lots of military personnel that carries honor , courage and commitment and yes , its not found in YOUTUBE VIDEOS .
    top secret lagi.... not found anywhere.
    OT sa ta...
    mura ni sa basketball, sa una kita ray moduwa diri sa asia, sa ato pa kita maoy ngilngig ug maayo moduwa.
    pero karon kay ato silingan kahibaw na moduwa, tan awa asa ta puniton, kita na ang katag.
    pero hasta ron sige lang gihapon ta pang hambog nga kitay pinakamaayo sa asia.
    mao ni typical pinoy mentality.

    @RMK711

    I can see your point! The training in the video is useless cause of the outdated equipment they are using in battle.And that belt spanking is just plain stupidity cause the enemy might never use it cause there's a thousand way to torture a man.You are saying that there's a better way to train them,by not actually hitting those recruits with a belt sadistically.

    Beating your own troops severely during escape & evade type trainings is counterproductive and outlawed in most countries because apart from being unprofessional and inhumane it is a form of psychological conditioning. You are conditioning your soldiers to be "afraid" of the enemy which is the exact opposite of what you should be trying to achieve.

    Hazing as a form of initiation has no valid place in the armed forces and is cherished only by street gangs and frat boys in this day and age.

    Why not promote Nationalism and Patriotism! Tell them they are fighting for this and that.Just like the Muslim insurgents in Middle east! Brainwash them!

    - rebel groups dynamically change from time to time. even overseas, rebellion is lingering for many years despite the moves to eradicate them. rebellion is like mosquito population, even if you swat 'em dead everyday, you just can't get 'em extinct.

    - the AFP is huge and not everything is covered by the media. if you immerse yourself in a unit of a specific branch of service, observe what's happening at the present and in the past, then, you'll get the answer you need.
