    ^^^^

But you are talking about the PRIDE which is one of the 7 deadly sins .

PINOY PRIDE is totally in a different context .

Mao lagi. Look, I never denied your point in saying we are all in a shitty situation right now. I am living that situation every freaking day. All your post above is doing is shoving that into our faces.

Our question now is what do you propose we do about it? Because unless you have a plan of action in there somewhere, this will be nothing more than a rant thread.

Are you saying those comments represent the entire 99 million people living in this country? Every nation has their share of douche bags and it's just sad that some of them have internet access and make comments that embarrass us.

We understand where both of you are coming from but, come on, this is the internet. You can't take anything written in here seriously. Not on Wikipedia, and especially not on some YouTube comment. For all we know basin mga Afrikans ang ni-post adto to make us look bad. In this day and age, even an 8 year old can post a dark, grainy video and title it "the ongkal-blackjellybean27 scandal". Does that mean the video is real?

This is just a discussion, OK? Let's be objective about it. It was stated in the original post that not all will like the original post, and here we are agreeing to disagree.

honestly, I never thought that such a phrase like "pinoy pride" even existed. So what if pacquiao is a world champ? so what if pacquiao is a filipino?

I have a life. i know that pacquiao is the world champ in different title divisions but is that something that we as a country can be proud of? pacquiao was able to become a sports icon because of his OWN hardwork. the philippines as a country has nothing to do with that, so seeing people posting messages like "WE filipinos are warriors blah blah" is just plain stupid.

Since when was the argument about that ? It has never been like that in relevance of the PINOY PRIDE . The PINOY PRIDE is about a WORLD BOXING CHAMPION in different WEIGHT CLASSES that happens to be a FILIPINO .

That is a fact that it is something a country can be proud of !!

When you graduated elementary , high school and college ... the most happiest people on earth were your parents and that is because you guys shared the same family name . They have nothing in whatsoever can do to make you achieve it because maksi dako pa ka ug allowance , you pay in cash for your tuition fees , hatod kuha ka sa school but you decided to be a bum ... useless to tanan and you finished school because of your own hardwork and perseverance . You get the drift now ?

Just for everybody's information, the arguments on "Pinoy Pride" has been around the internet for some time now. You can do a Google search and you can find various articles and forum discussing this.

My biggest gripe with them is that they are all just rant threads/articles with no other purpose I can discern expect to vent. Wala re. Nag reklamo ra. And then? Wa ra sad? So what was the message of the author? Wa ra sad -- nagpahungaw ra siya sa iyang gibati. Any suggestions? Wa sad. Plan of action? Samot.

There's even this one journalist who has a blog na directed sa mga kabus na murag gipagawas niya na he knows better than the rest of the Pinoy population. WTF? Inganaon jud diay na?
