CamSur is also a major player in sports tourism. They even have an Ironman triathlon event, something that Cebu never had until now.

Pero in fairness, Tomas also shares part of the blame. We don't have to go to the rural areas of Cebu to see the "other" image of cebu. So ug moingon ta nga Camarines Sur ang tunog karon, natural - duna man gyuy gusto mo overtake.

Laayo pa kaayo sa tinood nang CamSur oi in terms of progress.

A very impressive job by CamSur in the race of tourist arrivals. The gap with Cebu continues to shrink.

    From the Sun.Star Cebu report

In 2009, Cebu recorded 1,615,982 tourist arrivals, compared to 1,566,447 for Camarines Sur, and Cebu was number one in the country’s top 14 destinations, according to the DOT.

DOT figures on tourist arrivals in Cebu contradict naysayers: Gwen | Sun.Star Network Online

My friends and I will be spending a whole week of touring in CamSur soon.

Taga Cebu ko pero I would say nga our tourism is too "kanya-kanya" .. wala kaayoy cooperation and coordination...

Mas na impress pa ko sa tourism sa Bohol where there are actually things to do like the loboc river cruise, tarshier experience, hanging bridge etc... sa Cebu kay... Magellans Cross... Taoist temple... then beach na dayon... not much to do after that.

Cebu needs more activities to offer sa mga tourists unya dapat dili privatized to one resort where not all can enjoy.

ako mga officemates (taga manila ug other asian coutries) kai naka dungog na jud nga nindot daw sa cebu (as an island dili city) in terms of food (primary) and beach (secondary)
