I'm for alternative energy, but questionable ning nuclear energy considering sa capabilities sa Pilipinas.

Kuwang ra ang alternative energy, except kung mag tukod ka ug windmill tanan isla sa pinas ug geothermal plant kada nay volcano.. But it would triple our already very high electric bills (labaw na diris cebu na gikan sa lain isla kasagaran power nato).
I'd be idealistic saying that renewable and alternative energy is good but I can also say we need the power we can get from nuclear energy if we want enough energy to propel development and cheaper electricity bills.

It bring some benefits, but the major concern about safety depends on how and where it was build.

Ang fallout bai, at that proximity, would still be very very potent. Bisan asa dri sa Pilipinas ibutang, expect if there is a meltdown in the reactor the major cities will be affected. Delikado jud nang nuclear fission dri sa Pilipinas because we fall in the ring of fire. We don't have the same capabilities as China or Japan, so gamay nga tarug. Ma-himu jud ug Chernobyl ang Cebu ug Manila.

naa man gani nuclear plants ang indonesia...dili lang usa ha..daghan pa..US and it's corporate media wants to demonize the use of nuclear energy because dili SILA GUSTO MAAPSAN UG LAING COUNTRY ESPEICALLY IN TERMS OF MILITARY WARFARE. you are exgerating, most of the example you gave are using technologies before the 90's nuclear power plant are now safer using current technology!!!... with that kind of mentality we will never move forward but instead we are going backward....

its like you are saying that our enginers are stupid, because any nuclear power plant here will not be stable....
