rabeh al-hussaini will be a sure top pick... offensively, he's good... but im not impressed on his defense... he's a bit lazy on defense during his ateneo stint...

Vanlandingham shines in PBA Rookie Camp

Josh Vanlandingham scored 17 points to power the Blue Team past Rabeh Al-Hissaini’s White Team, 73-70, Monday in the PBA Rookie Camp at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The 26-year-old great grandson of Filipino Olympic medalist, swimmer Teofilo Yldefonso, went 7-for-7 from the field, including two 3-pointers, and had seven rebounds as he made good account of himself for the coming Annual Rookie Draft set this Sunday at the Market! Market!
    Place in Taguig City.

Last year’s NCAA MVP John Wilson of Jose Rizal University, John Raymund Aguilar and Fil-Australian Chester Taylor also figured prominently with 10 points apiece as the Blue Team swept the four-team, round-robin play with its third consecutive win.

The White Team (2-1) led 66-62 before Mark Canlas scored six points and Vanlandingham drilled a trey as the Blue Team took the lead for good with 68 seconds left.

Al-Hussaini showed the way for Whites for the third straight game with 10 points. He also had three rebounds and two blocks.

Fil-Canadian Sean Michael Anthony scattered 15 points and had seven rebounds as the Red Team defeated the Yellow Team, 71-68, in the other game. He also had four assists and two steals.

San Sebastian’s Jimbo Aquino accounted for 10 points and Claiford Arao added eight for the Red Team (1-2).

Rey Guevarra top scored for Yellow with 10 points.
