being a working student expects more sacrifices and solid determination....usa ni sa mga hiyas aron and usa ka tinu-an molampos ma working man o kanang ilang gitawag nga fulltime student...apan ang naka nindot ani niya kay sa linghud nga pangidaron nagsugod na ang pag panday sa pundasyon para sa imong mahayag nga kaugma-on...I graduated a working student @ UC and earning a mere Php 2.50 an hour for 5h/day many years ago but it never stops me, and also can attest that though competition is tough but you can have an edge among applicants and the best part is that you can already develop a good working attitude and chemistry towards your peers. For now when there's vacancy, my preference are for those working students because they never fails me....saludo ko sa mga working students o Non Academic Scholars

working student sab ko sauna ug grabe paugnat sa kusog kay sa machine shop ko nag work....ingnon pa ko sa akoa mga classmates nga nanimaho ko ug taya...pero agwanta lang hangtud nakalampos gyud tawn...sa tanan nga naa pa karon nga nagtungha padayun lang mo ug ayaw surender..

Most of the working students I've known in my 7 years of engineering turned out to be very successful in their professional endeavor. I don't know if its because of the "working" habit they've develop while in college or simply because they are talented to being with, but they end up better than most of the regular students.

In our company, we always give preference to applicants who were working students bec. kibaw mi nga mas mature nani sila in terms of the work ethic compared to a regular student.

To reiterate what teoding said, lisud is just a state of mind, and to add, you will reap what you sow.

Working student ko tapos wala man koy problem nga na encounter...hinaot mag padayon pa. I am a criminology student, og nag bantay ko sa library. Okay ra man ako nasinati as a working student pero ma miss sad ang pamilya nato oi kay sa school nalang ko pakatulgon sa ako mga teachers kay layo man amo. Inig day-off ra ko maka uli sa amoa. Lisod kaayo ron ang kwarta gud...
