Ok so I love my j-rock and I have to thank them for my guitar playing style so might as well share

1. S e x Machineguns (Speed Metal and very comedic...had to space the first word kay censored)
2. Onmyouza (Beautiful classical female voalist...very theatrical performances)
3. X Japan (R.I.P Hide)
4. Galneryus (More serious but has a touch of classic)
5. Animetal (disbanded [they do metal covers of many anime songs...MAZINGER!!! ZET!!!!])
6. Seikima II (one of the more famous ones)
7. An Cafe (they had a guitarist, Bou, who's a guy and is married but is SO HOT WHEN HE CROSS DRESSES! I'd turn gay for him)
8. LMC (love their pop feel)
9. Double Dealer (older, but steal freaking sweet)
10. Anthem (one of the best guitarists out there)
11. Concerto Moon (Very Ynwie Malmsteen Neo-Classic)
12. Alice Nine (They featured on MTV...not one the best but nice)
13. Granrodeo (I love their song Decadence and Canary)
14. Asian Kungfu Generation (Lighter rock but very catchy songs...very anti-fashion)
15. Exist Trace (Screamer girl as the front girl very nice)
16. Araune (All girl band with the lead singer having a man-ish voice)
17. CaMiN (Another all girl band, catchy but hard to find)
18. Girls Dead Monster (the band form ANGEL BEATS, pretty )
19. Black Heaven OST (not an artist but I LOVE THIS ANIME!!!)
20. Gackt (pretty good though overated)
21. April (a sort of all around band, some nice and catchy, some screamers)
22. Branch (love this band, super jumpy songs)
23. Ellseed (Exist Trace's Rival band...they appeal to me in the same way)
24. Nightingeil (Jap Emo band but they sound good [too bad they're emo])
25. Plastic Tree (I like their song 'Ghost' but I don't like the sing style in the rest of their songs)
26. Reivier (Good, though it doesn't stick)
27. Virgil (Jazz influenced rock)
28. Siam Shade (ONE OF THE BEST FOR LAST)

I KNOW I'M FORGETTING SOME XD BUT THESE ARE MY FAVE JAPANESE BANDS OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD.
