As I've said on my first post, we have different perspective to that. But for discussion's sake, I would say "you're right for those, who were Kung Fu enthusiast", but somehow you're wrong for those, who doesn't appreciate Kung Fu". Some say "Ninjutsu", is also dangerous. The ancient martial art used by Ninjas. My third -degree cousin, who happens to be a Scout Ranger told me, that during their training days, during the early 80's, being handled by Israeli Commando, on unarmed combat. They were taught on the most effective, in real life situation. But he refused to give any further details on it, but when he'd tried to demonstrate it to me. I'd think it was a combination of Aikijujitsu(Combination of Aikido & Juijitsu), incorpprated with Kickboxing, Grappling & Wrestling Technique. But there's one thing he'd accidentally disclosed "Low kicks are difficult to defend, and are very effective when you bring along with your whole body weight upon the delivery". Some also says, that the most elite commando are the "Israeli Commando". But I'm not so sure, the Navy Seals fanatics woul agree on these.

[size=18px]Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu[/size]

Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu combat system was born around the year 1000, for military purpose, and right from its origin it has always been characterised by a variety of disciplines which were taught to the clan's ancient Japanese warriors. One of these disciplines, taijutsu , included these innovative and original technical concepts known as Aiki. In origin, in fact, the Daito school was known under the name of "Aiki-in-yo-ho" .
Aikinojutsu , techniques using aiki , have a particular approach to an aggression, instead of using force to counter force or instead of yielding when faced with force (ju or yawara concepts), when applying aiki one "fuses" his vital energy with that of the opponent, and becomes one with it. The technical aspect is, however, to vast to be reduced in writing in a brief historical introduction to the art, and it may be item for successive study.
Aiki-in-yo-ho's taijutsu has undergone two principal areas of development before reaching us under the name of Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu.
These two areas were the Aiki philosophy (Aiki no jutsu) and the jujutsu philosophy. Aiki techniques became such a distinguishing and effective characteristic of the school that some centuries later in history (during the last 50 years or so) Daito's School Aiki no jutsu techniques became the core technical principles of other notable schools (Aikido, only to name the most renown).

But it was the tight and complete integration of these two philosophies that were to lead to the remarkable effectiveness and adaptability of the Art. Aiki no jutsu became one with other jujutsu techniques such as atemi , shime , kansetzu , kyushu , nage.
Since the very early ages the School taught all those military abilities which were essential to the Takeda army soldier: archery, sword, spear, halberd, horse riding, swimming, close quarter combat and many other disciplines.

Techniques were taught according to whom they were destined to: foot troops (ashigaru ), low ranking bushi (samurai ), horse mounted bushi, captains, and commanders.The highest-ranking officers were also instructed in military strategy, calligraphy, poetry, classical readings, and formal rules of behaviour to be kept inside the daimyoo's palace.

But all bushi begun their military formation very early, often as early as 10 years old. They entered the training dojos to practice for the rest of their lives those techniques which would have served them in battle, and all bushi were brought up with only one value and one law, the law of the feudal Japanese warrior, the "bushido".

I personally know someone who teaches this art today. His name is Grandmaster Dhong Reynaldo of the Comjukai Aikijujutsu Region-7.
