i assume that you own a car? and you are aware that the lock function on the SW is mechnical via key removed from the switch. Unless you turn the key to off or remove the key then the SW wont lock.

the choking problem only happens when the car is slow moving. .

no. dili na insulto sir. i was asking you that if you own a car, you knew nga molock lang ang SW kung maturn ang key sa off position or kung ma'extract ang key sa keyhole. so that means dili mo'lock ang SW kung ma'pawng ang engine. yes. dili mopaak ang brakes kaayo kung off ang engine but at the speed of 40kph or less, i think you can use the handbrake safely.PAWIS steering? the car is running so its not that hard to maneuver. lol i was even planning to remove the PS of my civic to achieve a clean looking engine bay.

Its not okay, Toyota Motor Philippines should have acted quickly and responsibly when the first incident occurred. The fortuner has a brake disability as well, try racing your engine via srp @ 160-180kph then do sudden braking, its does not require an IQ of an actor turned politician to notice that the brakes aren't reliable for a mid-size SUV, its more likely the brakes of vios, Toyota is indeed looking funnier each day.

Will I buy another toyota? If its for free YES, but i'm not gonna use, im gonna sell it and buy myself a Cherry. At least with Cherry I get what I pay for.

Its has been corrected already. wala nani nga prob sa 2008 up. if naa ka prob go to the dealerships dayon para ma check.

bitaw, you should think twice before buying 2nd hand d4ds karon. this stalling problem is caused by the supplypump, which TMC(toyota motor corp) claims caused by bad quality diesel here in the philippines. if your fortuner is 2006 then sad to say wala nana warranty and you could opt to buy a reconditioned supply pump didto sa casa for p30k++.. brand new would cost you p70k++. yet then again this has been corrected 2nd quarter of 2008. try to check the supplypumps of your d4ds, ang new pumps have longer ISC valves compared to the old one.

so kung naa mo plano mopalit 2nd hand hilux, or fortuner, innova's, hangyua ang owner ug less p70k, para naa ka budget pa ilis supplypump.hehe or better yet palit nalang gas nga model
