Really bad results for an aftermarket cooling, Thats not very impressive at all... thats it ? $200? seriously even a "collector" or a someone with deep pockets wouldn't even get this lol.

this pretty much sums up what people think of this COOL-IT GPU cooler:

Well it performed exactly like one would expect from a Coolit Domino system: 30 degree's worse than actual watercooling. Lets face it, for half a decade their CPU waterblocks have been owned and backdoored by every air cooler on the market over a $35 price tag. Is this product much of a surprise to anyone?

So heres my final word on this genuine craptacular product: If you must be a watercooling poser please god just pay someone build a loop for you.

Now we wait for corsair to do something like that but better... :P. Am i the only one that thinks this is REALLY useless!!!!

I'd rather get a Accelero GTX type of aircooling for my 480, even at the same cost as this CoolIT stuff.

The Thermalright Spitfire for $60 (maybe $80 or so after cost of fan and VRM cooling) would do much better than that given that with a 120mm fan it can practically halve the load temp on a 5870.

$200?


$40 more will get you a basic WC setup with the Koolance block, and will probably drop your temps a good 20C.


Yet another fail product from CoolIT.

87*C on liquid-cooled? Even with OC, that's pretty sad. These cards get far better temps with 100% fan on air than with this cooled.

Wow the performance on this thing is more than lack luster. Anyone willing to water cool is better off getting a custom loop at least the H50 for CPUs is appropriately priced for its performance this thing is just a complete waste of money.

mine at @850 stock cooler at 100% fan is around 65 deg max under load. true this is quiet but not impressive at all. for a few $ extra (or even less then it) can make a loop and get 40's and 50's silent

Wow... CoolIT fails...

And I forgot to mention that you can probably get those temps by re-applying the TIM properly.

You can OC the GTX 480 get temps below 50c even at full load with a proper loop, radiator, gpu block, etc.

i checked the comments, andz. you didn't have to post it here. it really isn't that impressive but for an all-in-one solution, its rather okay but then again the $200 pricetag makes it bad. a drop in temperature is a drop in temperature and right now, there isn't much available aftermarket cooler, with your option, you'd have to spend a lot more than just the waterblock not to mention not ALL people are into building their own kit because of hydrophobia para sa ilang electronics even people with lots of money who can afford to get one.
