theres nothing wrong about it, but... but, they should also give their children a chance to prove themselves that they can be trusted. parents serve as our fundamental source of information about life, if they dont trust you and what ur doing with your life, its like saying that the know and are afraid that they have shortcomings in showing you life..and helping you understand it as it unfold. correct me if am wrong, there are some times that you'd miss their being nosy and all, well its because, you know they care.

Well for nosy parents. Just be firm and stand your ground that they have to stop being nosy and mind their own business and you will take care of whatever decision you make. Tell them the respect is still there.
