I had a BF whom I caught having lunch at KFC SM with a girl. They sat across each other and hey were sitting at the table by the window so I had a very clear view of them as I approached KFC. I stood outside where they couldn't notice me to try to clear my thoughts of any malice. It was all good and it was all okay for me to see them together until the girl wiped my guy's face with a tissue and my guy leaned forward towards her and gave her a smoochie...

Of course, I'm not the type who causes a public scandal because I do believe that every one deserves a chance to explain. So I went inside KFC, sat beside my guy as I greeted them both and asked him, "Hey you...aren't you gonna introduce her to me?" Both of them just stared at each other with eyes wide open. It's like they were non-verbally saying, "WTF is she doing here!"

So I extended my hand towards the girl and introduced myself and she took it and introduced herself too. Then I said I was hungry and the girl immediately said, "ako nlng order for you...uhm...unsa man imo?" So I ordered 2 KFC bucket meals, 8 extra rice, 2 KFC Overload and 5 large fries all for take out.

GIRL: "That's all for you? Like...kaw ra jud mueat ana?"
ME: YUP. Got a problem with that?

Then she walked away. While she was at the counter, I told my BF, "The next time I'd see you with another girl, I'll let her treat me out for dinner at Marco Polo or else she dies. Got that?" So when she came back, I asked her lots of questions like how they met, her age, anything I can think of and I could tell by the looks on her face that she was nervous and that she couldn't wait to leave. When my orders came, I asked them to hurry up and I walked her to the taxi stand and thanked her for her treat. As for my BF, I made him carry my gym bag coz I came from my volleyball practice and the KFC orders and used his credit card for my shopping spree...

You see, you don't have to let your emotions cloud your thoughts into thinking how to get back at the people who have done you wrong. Just use the situation to your advantage.

P.S. I shared my KFC orders with my friends and just laughed it all off.

Of course it hurt that time. Who wouldn't feel the sting in that situation, right? No one wants to be cheated upon. But what hurt me the most was the implication about why he had cheated...it made me feel that I wasn't good enough. But life goes on. I've moved on and he hasn't, up until now...and it's been like 3 years. All I said to him was, "it was your loss, not mine." I just acted civil and made fun of the situation to avoid making a scene. I don't wanna embarrass anyone in public. I'm not that scandalous. And I know that I deserve better.
