nirvana and metallica?

its like comparing copper to gold.

hehehe. no offense nirvana fans but metallica, at least for me, is far superior.

aside from the fact that they're still making music, their songs are absolute greats.classic.
(im talkin about the albums circa 1980s.)

nirvana just arrived in the scene and his addiction to drugs made him "intriguing" and popular... commercial culture, that's what it was with nirvana. songs without edges.

metallica, on the other hand crafts songs like a master sculptor would a rock.kurt COULD hAVE wrote songs when he was in the influence...

metallica defines heavy metal... try listening to one song at least twice and you'll know what im talking about.

*i dont not like nirvana, but their popularity is just too overrated.

...of course, this is only my opinion...

Tsk, tsk....Comparing two bands of different genre? It is a heart-wrenching topic.

Nirvana and Metallica are not playin music to be compared. Heck, that's the last thing they ought to think of. Perhaps, these bands are remembered with what music they play and NOT what they are being compared to other band of different genre.
