just my 2 cents...u usually get this type of training when u r already in an oncology unit. it wud seem to appear that u will get updated on the most recent onco treatments and skills.
murag seldom ra man kaau ni sa ato-a oi. but try to go to Manila basi mas common didto.
yes its a Program developed by ANSAP, this is actually next to the Basic IV Therapy training followed by the Advanced IV Therapy Training which consists of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy. The training is very nice, i was able to administer chemo treatments at Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center where i had my practicum. While radiotherapy is more of giving the IV Medications like in giving contrast for patients undergoing CT Scan with contrast as well as with IVP.
..nindut mn pd sad cguro na mgtraining pd bsg wa pa sa onco unit kay preha rmn pd na nila dd2 trainingon pa pd before mkaduty..korek me if im wrong.. my nlng nana points kung gali mn mgapply.. mahal kau ad2 sa manila mao gni ask ko f naa sa cebu..
sa ato culture sa oncological treatments sa CEBU mao seldom ra tungod ky expensive man kaau gud. wa pod ta kaau chemo treatments na OPD type ra like patients are just scheduled certain days of the week then after a couple of hours monitoring kay uli ra daun. ky sa ani na mga type, patients actually need a central, PICC lines or porta-cath implanted in them that nurses can access or de-access anytime for treatments. sa mga pips na dato ra gyud ni na maka complete sa ila cycle and sessions. plus in cebu we only have few HUGE, established hospitals that might have onco units.
nindot gyud unta kaau ky maka learn gyud ta nurses...if u will see how patients react post treatments, malu-oy gyud ka mag tan-aw oi! haayyy...may god help the people with cancers get thru it oi!!!
