i figured out same trick like this one last year. heheh.. yah everything revolves on 9!

try ko ug explain hehehe
you start with a number X & Y; X is in the tens place Y is in the ones place

1. Add the two nums to get another num

X+Y = Z

2. Subtract Z to the orig number to get an answer A

10X + Y - Z = A
(we multiply X to 10 since its in the 10s place)
to simplify... since Z = X+Y we get
10X + Y - (X+Y) = A
10X + Y - X - Y = A
9X = A

In plain english, the answer you will get will always be zero or a factor of 9. In the codes beside the numbers, 0 and all factors of 9 have the same symbol. That's why he always knows your symbol. And the numbers were intentionally not sorted para dili kaayo klaro nga preho ra ang symbol.

Bros. it is really amazing. How does this formula offers solution to the puzzle? Sorry, I don't find the significance of the formula. It was merely a substitution formula which obviously would arrive the same number or zero should the number be transpose. What keeps it from exposing the real score of the puzzle is, How does the computer picks the corresponding symbol of your imagined number. There are 95 numbers in the row and whats in the program that it will identify your number together with the symbol. I had tried without thinking of any number but simply select from the number with corresponding symbol. But the result still the same- perfect. It was a mind-bugling puzzle that remains mysterious to me. Can anyone unearth the secret for me? hehehehehe
