    rikodiko, what do u mean by MUT system? yung wideband? i think kartzone (justin) has a wideband 02 meter and i heard hilton has. i use a MMCD palm datalogger.

    @facapino: ang MUT kalimot kos pasabot ana, pero it's a system where it is connected to the ECU so to diagnose the engine's problems. error codes will be read in the MUT and these codes will then be interpreted by the techinician, then actual repairs will be done to the real cause of the problem.

    i think kanang wideband mao nay gi-ingun ni jess nga mo tune sa engine. it sets the optimal ratio of air and fuel..

    riko diko, what a small world diay noh? :mrgreen:hehehe automekanika in reclamation are has the system you are looking for. they have different universal types of adaptors for different brands and models of cars. they just hook it up the laptop and you will see what actual problems your ecu is reeading out.

    facapino, do you still remember the system that automekanika has to diagnose ecu problems?...i think thats what riko_diko is pertaining to.

    @ FACAPINO .. no I wasnt asking you to prove such numbers . Guesstimates wont do any good anyhow . I was referring to actual useage of the claimed 20 PSI being utilized with stock internals EASILY on a HARSH and ABUSIVE ENVIRONMENT . We are not on the same page regarding the ADEQUATE FUELING issue bai but though you have all the goodies you need , if you run with a not so good gas , it is good for nothing .

    - I am not quite accurate how the formula goes on conversion on OCTANES but to those I confused , I am referring to the actual equivalent of whatever the highest OCTANE that is available in the Philippines to the gas in the US .

    - Just because its bigger works better is a misconception . Not all the time .

    - I say 1st G 4g63 motors are the choice of enthusiast and semi serious DSM tuners because of its availablity bai . They are everywhere from Lasers , Protons , Talons and even some 2nd G motors now are readily available anytime and anywhere .

    - As to what FACAPINO said regarding a 14 PSI EVO has more HP than a 20 PSI Lancer is not the issue but how your engine manages to safely run with that kind of boost . Like you said you are not running 20 PSI all day but it is SET at 20 PSI all day . Can you imagine a 4G63T with 20 PSI of boost and how much power it makes ?? That kind of power is already meant for abusive handling of the motor like drag racing , auto crossing etc . Thats the reason why I asked for a legit TIME SLIP at that boost and a DYNO RUN at that boost .

    - Though I dont know you , I do respect your inputs and opinions . I was even refreshed by you to some points regarding boosted motors and I appreciate that. Its now better to breakdown the power of the 4G63T and where this motor will bring us as enthusiast considering being dwarfed by Honda and Toyota motors .

    Thanks for your advise. Pasensya na on my question, I'm not really very good on engines. Can you recommend a good mechanic to see if my valve tappets adjustment is correct. I presume there's not much work to be made on right; it's just a matter of minor adjustments, right?

    Mag pila kaha atong mabayran for that?

    Btw, my engine is only 4G37 and i'mm not sure if its a good engine.

    Any suggestions or comments are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    stealth, dali raman na iadjust ang valve tappets, mga 1 hour the most siguro. my suking mekaniko is in echavez, anad kaayo na siay ug saturn engines although kaya sad niya any engine. mga 300 pesos raman ang charge ana. :mrgreen: pls pm your cell number nalang para makasabot ta nya kuyugan taka didto, kamo nalang sa mekaniko kuyug. 4g37 is a good engine, its basiacally a saturn engine but with 1800cc displacement...medyo kalas lang ug gas kay dako2x naman gud nga makina. unsa ni nga car nakataod?

    Thanks for the tip. I just bought a 1988 galant supersaloon. I'm not very familiar of car's engine but when I looked at its engine, I saw a number on the side 4G37, I guess thats its engine model. c",) Sakto bako bro?
