bro, you are talking as if you are the only one who travelled outside of the country. if you have really travelled extensively abroad, you can see the real difference. i agree that she did something for the country just like any of us but nothing has changed. the rich became richer and the poor became poorer.

bro, that's not the point here ... I have seen worst situations, worst governments, worst corruptions ... you can say what in many countries abroad, and in many continents ... but, i say our country is much better that others ... Gloria had done her homework .. as to the rich becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer, there is one great part you have overlooked bro: the growing middle class in our Filipino society ... fortunately, they are the prime movers of our economy, or any other economies ... good economic reforms will protect this sector of our society and their trust makes them players of the economy ... during the martial law this shrunk so much putting many as poor, and few as rich ... with freedom in 1986, it begun to grow .. this was threatened during the last years of Ramos and during the Estrada government ..and the global recession today, but reforms were chosen by this government from the moment it took over the national government, that is why today, we can say that the middle class becomes a dynamic force in our economy today .. and we are one of these: we are not rich, but we are not poor .. we buy things, vacation perks, eat out or coffee drinks at cafe's, go to movies or buy C.P's and laptops or CPU .. we move our economy whether we like it or not ... maybe one thing we still have to do is to begin saving money in the banks ... that would be ideal.

Well said. Few people have ever realized that it is the middle class that has increased during the GMA years. Daghan bitaw gihapon pobre but you have to pull up the middle class aron mo irog ang ekonomiya.
