It might not depend sa grades pero sometimes schools help in the selection. Like: person A and B has both the same grade sa engineering, say 85%. Unya person A belongs to university of junquera (UJ - hehe, made up) and person B goes to harvard university..? Kung ako ang employer, I would go Person B, maski 90% pa ang Person A.

Maau man mga taga CIT, i have friends there. But sometimes recognition and reputation is important. It really helps. Though some might think this might be a poor basis but this is one of the basis we got. So better be recognized nalang. I think CIT wont have a problem being recognized.

Unya about sa mga intellectually less fortunate, tanan man cguro schools naa ana.

daghan man reason.. like curiousity, adventure, mas dako sweldo (kasagaran cguro nga reason), advancement sa profession, ikyas sa utang, etc.. Naa man pud mga perks didto like coffee, transpo, snaks, housing, free electricity and water. Mas nindot gyud diri magwork pinas, pero sometimes there are reasons lang gyud.

ako graduate ko sa CITE then sa CIT.
Naa ko sa singapore nag work ron.
Di mo matter ang imong school sa pinas. ang mo matter is ang imong course, work experience if it is befitting sa imong work nga gi applayan diri.

And regarding EPEC (a visa of some sort that allows you to stay in singapore for a year or two):
sa akong nahibaw-an upat nalang ka schools ang gi recognise sa singapore og tanan naa sa manila. Nahitabo ni because naay PINOY nga NASAKPAN nga gi FORGE niya ang EPEC. As a result na-among ang tanang pinoy.

    Go pinoy.

daghan mangingilad diri nga pinoy. Naa pud nadakpan pinoy couple nga mo ari lang as a tourist then manguha/mangawat ra og bag. Mau karon ang singaporeans di nasad mag pataka bilin sa ilang butang.

    Go pinoy.

yup dili gyud kaau class ang CIT. ironic thing is daghan ko kaila mga graduate sa ubang "reputable" school pero walay ka skill2x. hehehe. sad. also my sisters group of cum laudes from a certain reputable school la man gyud nakapasar sa board pero daghan man sa taga CiT nga regular students nakapasar. hmmmm.

I think naa ra gyud sa pag paninguha sa estudyante regardless of asa siya ni eskwala o ni graduate.

sa ako lang ha...depende ra man cguro na sa competitiveness sa applicant...i'm from CIT and i used to work in one of the American companies in mepz(included sa US fortune 500)...after 3 years i applied in singapore...till now i'm still working here in singapore...in fact upat mi from CIT dungan mi apply the same company, dungan sad mi nadawat...naa ra gyud cguro na sa competitiveness sa applicant...
