Apil ko ani bi..newbie ko dri sa istorya.net pero dili sa Mac....
I've been using different versions of Mac like Mac OS 9, Puma, Jaguar and Panther.
The Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference was not finished yet (June 6-10) so i'll have my say after that.
Yes, guys, the rumors are true!
“Starting next year, we will introduce Macs with Intel processors,” said Jobs. “This time next year, we plan to ship Macs with Intel processors. In two years, our plan is that the transition will be mostly complete, and will be complete by end of 2007.”
You can watch the video of the Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference Steve Job's Keynote at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/qtv/wwdc05/ .

Bai, in my opinion it is the best time to buy a mac for this will be the last year tingali na you''ll have a mac na PowerPC ang processor. This could be a collectors' item in the near future hehehe. So sa tanan na wala pay Mac, maybe it's time to consider buying one. I just posted a thread the Buy / Sell / Trade / Classifieds.

I just hope that with the latest transition, it will make Macs more cheaper.
hi dulce, i dont think that the shift will make the macs more cheaper, it might be that they will be more faster and more compact. afaik, apple will always sell their computers as a complete system rather than having it DIY.
I was just wondering, is Steve Jobs not afraid of the Osborne effect after the announcement?
I've read that those who plan to buy macs now will just have to wait for next year instead just to have the newly revolutionized macs.
Oh well, just a thought.
Purely, I think this is all business. Hehehe.
well, it wont matter much really, they will probably try make the shift as transparent as possible
Hehe... Yeah, and I bet all the developers now are very busy compiling their applications in the new platform. Sounds fun!
