Nka basa kog FHM (may'06), nay article did2 na "30 best indie bands". Susiha gud to ninyo. Naa silay gi feature na band did2 na mao kuno toy "manila's answer to cebu's urbandub".. Nagkatawa ko pag kita nko ato. I wuz lyk "They'r tring to compete now?? Grabi lagi na ka stupid.." Pa ila lng jud unsa ka insecure ang mga buang sa success sa urbandub. Wa cla ga dahum na kaya sa taga cebu... Sunod ani, naa napud na silay ipagawas na "manila's answer to Junior Kilat" or "manila's answer to who-ever band na ipagawas sa cebu!!"

Hehehe..record companies and execs from manila can really be pretty dumb...what the ?!@%^&%$

in fairness daghan man sad maayo diri sa Cebu, pero mas daghan sa Manila, usa pa wala tay acces sa gears diri, ug wala say tukaranan nga tarong, ang mga banda sad nato diri kasagaran purdoy, ang uban sad mu settle lang sa baratuhon nga gamit like amps and effects ug gitara. pero mu compensate sa lack of good gear ang ilang pagka maayo. a few months ago I was looking for a good tube amp sa mga music stores pero wala gyud ko kita that's why I just settled for a peavey studio pro, pero bati gihapon siaya nga amp, kung sa recording sad bati kaayo, maminaw ka sa gitara, yabag kaayo, drums perting bati-a, pito2x ang pagka record, promising ang bisrock pero kulang gihapon kay bati kaayo ug recording kasagaran, pero ana man gyud na kung kulang sad sa budget, pero ambot lang sad kay kung maminaw ka ug parokya ni edgar pirti man sad yabaga sa ilang mga gitara. so far the best recording nako nadunggan diri sa pinas is from Cynthia Alexander's records. just my 2 cents.

Francis Magalona when he did the Freeman Album, maayo jud nuon no question about it.. si Perf De Castro (who was the original guitarist of Rivermaya joined HARDWARE SYNDROME after parting ways with the Rivermaya) member mani sya sa Hardware Syndrome kaso, ni migrate naman sa US... i dont know sa current nila nga guitarista but they are good musicians jud.. about naman k Harley Alarcon, he's the drummer of the Rizal Underground, then P.O.T. .. there are a lot of good bands here in Cebu, who are as good also like bands in Manila.. ang ako lang let's support Pinoy Musicians/ Bands..
