Nice item gyud tingali ni. Just 1 last question before i go and get it; cable ready ni? If naka cable box ka, wala problema. But if dili naka box and cable nimo, will this still work? How many channels sa TV tuner? Pls give me feedback. tnx
sa mga nakapalit ug ovation add sad mo comments oi... aron sad makapalit nami ug nindot ba...
I've personally tried the 22 inch myself. I dont have a problem with ghosting and stuff. Even at games where unusual action happens, this monitor keeps up and is doing alot of great job.
Cable is not a problem, I've tested it and it works fine.
I tried watching Transformers 1080p in the 22 inch screen and it played well. Didn't have any problems with it. To fully experience 1080p framerates, you need a decent video card though. Even my HD 4770 didn't fare well with it although it was running at around 30-35fps. If I had a more powerful CPU and a more powerful GPU, I can easilly attest the full potential of this monitor at full HD. Although this monitor only supports 1080i.
If Full HD lang gyud inyong apas ani, just make sure naa moy decent CPU and GPU. Kay bisag mopalit pa mog pinakamahal ug pinakanindot na 22 inch screen then bottleneck ang CPU ug GPU, then thats a problem, even a waste of money.
Overall, 9/10.
PS: I tested 3 units kay seller man ko ani na Ovation LCD Monitors. All of them fared well and performed the same.
hmmm, i find this hard to believe bro, ang hd 4770 naglisod sa 1080p? hehehe, what diay gamit nimo nga media player bro? if naka-hd 4770 ka then nag stutter imo playback, then it's most likely nga imo CPU ang gigamit pag decode sa video ang dili ang imo GPU. i have an hd 4770, and i'm using media player classic (home cinema) to make full use of my GPU. well, 1080p videos play smoothly, pwede pa gani maka-gamit ka shaders while playing back the video. you don't need a "more powerful" GPU than hd 4770 to play 1080p smoothly. you need the proper media player to utilize your GPU in playing back H.264 or VC-1 encoded 1080p videos.
@TS:
by the way, 22" monitors mostly have 1680x1050 resolution (see posts #13 and 20 on this thread), so i-scale down jud ang 1080p video to the native resolution. better buy a display with a higher resolution if nahan ka magwatch full hd (1080p).

OT: for nividia users who wants hardware acceleration with HD movies just follow this link: NVIDIA Forums > Brief guide to use Nvidia's PureVideo HD
ambot ug nindot ni pra graphics
nakabuy mi sa apc ug ovation, for me entry level lang jud ni cya sa LCD TV category. Then iya sound lata kaayo.
i don't think compatible ang 22" Ovation to run Full HD since it has only 1680x1050 max resolution
