Let those 5 % personnel do the training in bootcamp and not those students who wanted to become ARCHITECTS , ENGINNEERS , LAWYERS , TEACHERS , NURSES , BUSINESSMEN / WOMEN , CHEMIST's etc . "

thats the problem with a population of around 80 to 90m we have a mediocre AFP around 120 to 130th and only about around 60th or 70th army 8th Â*marines. so this 68 or 78th ground forces Â*+ the undiscipline cafgus are Â*the Â*only ones real active protection of the state against armed rebels... the police is bigger than AFP but their scatterd formations around the country is only good to fight criminals and no good if example a small municipality will be raided by abusayaf or npa and others terrorist rebels..

thats why until now we had this rebels problem .. Â* AFP should have at least 250th ground forces and should have disband the Â*airforce and navy Â*transfer all its personal to the army and marines... the so called phil airforce with its funny air assests should be called airgroup the commander should be only colonel ... the phil coastguard Â*should assume the role of the now disbanded navy.

MY crazy idea if ever ROTC is back should be 6 month service in regular AFP( ROTC cadets wil handle non combat duty like all general staff division staff all camp staff procurement staff ,finace staff , clerical staff... so Â*all this use less mostly corrupt AFP personal in the camp HQ except for the CO of the staff deparments will be sent to the field mountains ot fight the rebel menance that way the AFP can maximaze utilization of its meager assets and 1 more since the ROTC cadets are young and idealistic Â*the HQ staff corruptions will be lessen to 90 percent particularly in the finance and procurement. Â*only in the intelligence staff Â*section ROTC cadets cant be utilized Â*cause its the Â*u know jamesbond.. instead of the use less marching in southkorea i Â*think they have this kind of concept but as combat troops Â*but 1year compulsary service after colledge graduation i dont know correct me if im wrong..

FREEZA ... my point is , kung wala kay interest sa MILITARY , it will not do you good and the militray itself . Unless the Philippines needs to draft then fine but we dont really need it for the moment . Mao bitaw nahug na lang ug scandal or corruption was involved sa ROTC kay pangwarta na man lang na . Kinsay involved ? Mga CADET OFFICERS mismo na tag-as kaau ug ihi sa field pero di maka uli siya ra usa .

Yes naay ROTC and specific siya sa navy , air force and army . But the students who are ROTC cadets bai kay requirement na siya to actually become an officer if you opted not to go to college and earn a degree . To make the story short , mga CADETS sa ROTC diri sa US has a spot in the military when they graduate in HS. So kung naa ka sa HS , its a choice and not an obligation .

Bati manto ang ROTC oi! kastigohon manta og maayo cgeg marcha2x..kong sa tinuoray na og pamusilon ta og M249 sa kontra mayman og mag cge patag marcha..for me dili nalang na e balik useless wlay ayo,,,anyways naa nabitaw mga Airsoft enthusiast kana nalang ang e reserve kai mas ga practice pa gyud na og claro Military simulation mas nindot pa og armas,BDU, og Accessories kaysa sa mga tunay nga sundalo ....awss! Kong ang ROTC sagolan og Airsoft..marcha sa buntag nya wargames sa hapon kana daghan manulod sa ROTC...para gyud nako Airsoft Enthusiast gyud ang da best na himuong Military reserved. bala ray kalahian ani sa tinuoray..kai ang mga pusil CA og MARUI almost thesame ang weight sa tinuoray nga pusil sa ato pa anad na og pas-an2x pusil ni sila..

ok nice point...... but my crazy idea had some good use the complex AFP military Â*small as it is are not all about art of war if we use Rotc cadets Â*as regular troops even just for 6 months compusary Â*instead of the 4 Â*subject rotc1..2 3 4 performing non -combat duties such as finace payroll staff( good for acc.. commerce. banking colledge students) or in JAGO as staffs( good for political science Â*or Â*would be lawyer students) in logistic Â*transpo Â*(again good for business students) in ships or c-130s (good for seman and aeronautics students) in military hospitals which in dire need of manpower(good for medical students)and many more like comunications.etc... of course they will be under the supervison of the correstponding COs Â*they will just replace all the use less Â* Â*AFP personal serving in HQs which eventualy be transfered to the field for Â*deployement... of course for the adventurist one's they can detailed in search and rescue or to boots camps Â*for full regular training or even serve as volunteer force to became heroes hehhhehehehe


this Â*will also help Â*the AFP Â*lessen its corruptions Â*as this young rotc cadets will surely or mostly Â*will report anything suspicous Â*and will help AFP Â*in man power resources im sure with this setup many Â*colledge students wont complain as ROTC is mostly associated with Â*the useless marching in the sun with a fake wooden
