Ug gahapon while the Fort Bonifacio incident is going on ang gi interview sa sa ANC si Navy Admiral Mateo Mayuga ug si Presidential Spokesman Ricardo Saludo. Si Mike Defensor pirmi pod tawgon sa ABS CBN.

Remember Cebu Pacific DC-9 flying from Davao to Manila but diverted instead to Mactan due to the bomb threat on board?

the issue here is really simple, the media may have the right to bring real news to the masses but they should, not necessarily filter the news that they publish or broadcast.

the bad thing about philippine media is they are partial and are also run by politicians, specifically ABS-CBN so they tend to be biased. in what sense? they broadcast even mere hearsays and propaganda and they tend to focus more on the negative sides of their political and industry enemies and this are KNOW FACTS.

now is that responsible media?

the problem with the citizenry is that they think that media freedom is being curtailed, probably because many are ignorant. if this government is truly that bad and with all the powers of government then they can recall press freedom just like that and media people can't do anything about it but THEY DID NOT.

regardless of who is president, media should be regulated. the government and the press should reach an agreement on the guidelines and the policies should be made known to the public.
