Personally, I'm not impressed with the TS9 coz of the different IC used (TA7555, which IMO sounds more fizzier and trebly compared to the "correct" IC (JRC4558D). This is the chip used by the Ibanez TS808 and the Maxon OD-9. Fortunately, this pedal is very moddable so as to use the correct IC.
FYI: Maxon is the original maker/designer of the Tubescreamer until after 2002. In fact, they also designed some of Ibby's famous pedals, such as the FL-9 Flanger, CS-9 Chorus, and AD-9 Analog Delay. :mrgreen:
yes maxon was making TS before, the TS9 is fuzzier but paired with paf pro's which are darker sounding pups brings a very voicey sound that i as an instrumental stuffOriginally Posted by tackielarla

nindot analog, pino ug output. pero kung matarong pud nimo ang multieffects, nindot pud kaayo kay mao nalang imo dalhon. kung dili ka makuntinto gamay2x nalang. 1 analog and 1 mE.
i think analog is good sa distortion then digital kung chorus, flanger & wah..
para nako mas nice ang analog na wah bro...
