kabalo ka arnis? i know some basics but i would be glad if theres someone who can enhance the arnis side of training coz what we will be doing is Sikaran-Arnis..

unya lang sa ng arnis hehe,cross training lang ta nila...then tudloan pud nato cla sa sikaran.kung ok na nimo nga arrangement?

hehe.. actually, we can not avoid arnis kay part man jud na sya sa curriculum sa Sikaran.. but im glad u have a good background in arnis. Eskrido ( Cacoy System) is a very nice system iin itself. Ako cazin used to train there when he was still in cebu. The arnis of Sikaran is very similar to Modern Arnis of Presas pero maayo nang varied ato approaches sa Arnis component... anyway, whatever our arnis background is, our common bond will always be the kicks and tradition of Sikaran

Regarding sa sikaran i remember when i was in college sa MSU-IIT.
Naay grupo didto nga arnis-sikaran ako sige lang tan-aw kaw ako klasmayt practisioner man.
Mag tournment sad sila for promotion that was 1990's.
I'm now in cebu nakpractis ko ug AIKIDO for 1 year tapos naputol tungod sa working schedule.
Ask lang ko kung puyde ko kaapil if mo fit sa ako schedule and budget. ako lingaw karon sige lang tan-aw video regarding martial arts
movie.

Congrats makoy ! samot ko kabilib nimo kay imo jud prioritize imo studies thats the essence of martial arts. competition is good but knowing how u apply the values learned in martial arts ( like knowing how to prioritize things in daily life ) makes one different and special. daghan pa mo abot na dula bro pag graduate nimo, bsan adto pa kukkiwon sa Korea, di ba?

yes sir there is

in fact, its an integral part of sikaran. we dont emphasize hands during competition sparring because the hands is reserved for the stick. some of my sikaran seniors actively participate also in arnis competitions. however, the main emphasize of the training is still on kickfighting. www.globalsikaran.com
