Mag-reinstall ka kung naay bag-o na filesystem. Filesystem does not come every six months. What am trying to say na you don't do clean install every six months. You just upgrade the packages and that's it.

di man kinghanlan ug clean install, pwede ra nimo i-upgrade imong filesystem from ext3 to ext4 diretso.

    Code:
    # tune2fs -O extents,uninit_bg,dir_index /dev/sdxx
    # e2fsck /dev/sdxx
livecd ra ang gamita para sure wala nka-mount ang hdd ayaw kalimot ug edit sa fstab after ma-enable ang ext4 options sa imong filesystem. i-change ra ang ext3 column into ext4 sa appropriate device.

if you want a light linux try the following
    jolicloud
    peppermint

both can run with only 192mb of ram

but puppylinux is the lightest with only 50mb iso
