Veco - User < Electric Meter > Main Line > Power Distributor

MCWD - User < Water Meter > Main Pipeline > Reservoir

    Telco - User < Phone/Modem/Mobile Station > Tower > Datacenter
Mao dyud. Legal na if motukod mo ug inyong kaugalingon nga cell site unya mao inyo gamiton sa inyo services. Kato nga signal inyo gamiton for that business.

Makalingaw pa basahon nga APN has nothing to do "daw" with their VPN setup. Unya mabasahan nimu sa support

    "change modem setting bro
    apn: smart1
    dial: *98#
    auth: PAP"

Oh gamit man lagi ug APN? Smart man lagi na nga "Access Point Name". So meaning smart ang gigamit nga network. Tsk3....

"If it is indeed stolen from commercial resources, then istorya.net will not tolerate such acts."

VPN is used to connect 2 or more "private" sites securely using the public network "internet". in such case, each user/site must pay to its ISP for the internet connectivity. ISP on the otherhand, dealt the VPN packets to pass thru its network unscrutinized for privacy other than that, VPN connections are like private tunnels may it be in layer 2 or layer 3 over the net.

Free Internet over VPN is making a logical tunnel between the wireless USB modem to VPN server where the VPN server internet connectivity serves as gateway or transit point. This VPN server acts as the Radius/AAA. user must be registered & assigned w/ username & password inorder to be allowed to have free internet access. This method "bypassed" the ISP's Radius/AAA servers therefore it is difficult to account the usage per user. in this way, the VPN server owner is the one paying rightfully for the internet connectivity while its users don't pay as much as long as their ISP will allow the handshake process as necessary to establish connectivity supposedly w/ the ISP's servers for the AAA but is diverted to the VPN server by creating a logical tunnel.

Therefore, free internet over VPN is unfair to the wireless ISP.

    Giluto sa kaugalingong mantika posts.

    1.
After all a VPN’s purpose is to allow multiple remote users access, with the admin’s permission, to a private network supposedly created by the one who paid for the internet connection.
    - Who is the admin? Are those offering these VPN connection the telco's admins?
    - They paid for the VPN servers and not for the internet connection.

    2.
para sa akoa dili illegal ang vpn. if the use of vpn is illegal then ang ISP itself shud block vpn tunneling pero mga isp mismo naa vpn nga business.
    - Telco's VPN services are different from the VPN that are being offered. Still you have to pay for the internet connection plus an add on if you want to avail of telco's VPN.

    3.
thing is,,, walay policy, until such policy is implemented from globe or smart, then use of vpn is considered illegal... theories/ideas ra tanan ato ma share diri...
    - Naay policies. Wala gisabot ug tarong.

    4.
ky bsag dili ka mag configure ug APN sa smartbro, palit lang ka ug buddy 3G sim ibutang sa imo usb modem, mka konek gyapon ka sa dashboard sa smart as well as mka konek gyapon ka sa vpn...
    - Why sa first page pa lang naa na sa "How to setup your modem" includes unsa nga APN ang gamiton. APN's that are owned by these telcos.

    5.
since vpn is using our own data from the servers nga amo gipalit, there's no need to pay to the ISP. it's true nga gigamit namo ang ila signal since apil na cya sa pagpalit sa modem ug sim.
    - VPN is just a medium, you are paying to use this medium. Para ma-bypass ang paid services from these telcos which in return maka-access ka sa data.

    6.
for me it's not logical to pay the ISP for data if i am using my own data gikan sa ako nga server gipalit.
    - Again it is not the data from the VPN server that you are paying. VPN server doesn't contain the data that you want to access (e.g. naa sa VPN server ninyo ang data from Facebook?) Ang use of VPN server is to facilitate the secured connection that will be established through these telco's network..

Mas mo lig-on ilang system tungod aning fbt. Sauna dili kaau hugot ilang security karon lisod na kaayo sila sudlon lik Globe karon dba sauna luoy kaayo ni sila focus maayo ang FBT sa ilang network, karon gahi pa sa bato...

    Go lng ng Go...

Enjoy lng kay naa pa... hehehe

i am not against VPN cuz gamit kaayo na namo ngare as Admin, i am just saying that it is not ethical nga gmiton ang VPN as a tool for freenet cuz there is no such thing as FREENET bro you have to pay for it.
