It's confirmed by an American friend of mine.
It will be quite hard to get a visa for the US, Canada or Europe if you have a tatoo. The embassy people will think that you are a drug dealer, convict, punk, whatever-phile, (if you're a guy) or a prostitute (if you're a girl) if you have a tatoo.
You can't also donate blood for a full year (or even two) if you have a tatoo. It's just too risky.
It may look hot (believe me, I'm even tempted to have one) but I'll just pass, considering the future consequences of having one.
I'd rather have henna (temporary tatoo) than having a real one.

yeah i totally agree with JADE FALCON...i was planning to get a tattoo sana but then i heard na u will have a hard time getting a visa...mao na wala na lang...

that's not totally true. having a tattoo is not a hindrance in getting a visa.

I've heard about stories nga if naa kay tattoo, dili ka ma approbahan ug visa.. I believed it sa una, pero naa koy mga amigo nga naka ari diri bisag naa silay Tattoos. Maybe naka timing silag lenient nga interviewer ..

i have one in my left ear...aside from the usual piercings that girls have...i've done it out of boredom...i needed sumthin new...and since grad naman ko...i took the courage to have it pierced...i've been planning to have my belly pierced as well but when i saw this girl on tv and she totally cried...i chickened out....hehehe
so all in all i have three piercings...2 on the left...and one on the right...
