i usually recommend a 9mm for girls since it's easier to handle but i've seen women play with a .40 cal with ease. a 9mm can cost anywhere from 20 - 50k depending on the brand. as for lessons you can go to any PNP accredited firing range in cebu, they usually have a range officer around to help you.Originally Posted by xjhoyx

AZN BOI .... pwede man ipa ship with the right people as connections which I dont have . Secondly , I sold it already . Your barrel is for the .45 caliber , just fatter than the ACP's .
XJHOYX .... If its for personal protection that you will bring and conceal ( make sure to check the legalities and acqire permits b4 doing so ) with you or for home defense , your best bet is to go to a GUNSTORE . That way , you can plan your BUDGET and what you can handle . DOnt fall for cosmetics , it should come second ... make sure you are comfortable with the CALIBER , WEIGHT and most of all being a USER FRIENDLY friearm . Its hard to tell you what to buy , whats gold for me could be scrap for you and vice versa .

S&W 12x1 9mm (a really old model)
Anchutz .22 LR
and
.38 Super STI - hand picked parts and had a gun smith assemble it
along with Compensator and C-more optical sights, 45-round extended mag, and a couple of PPSA standard mags

Eric Grauffel, an IPSC World Champion will be in Cebu to conduct a workshop on Practical Shooting. I guess this will be held either before or after the Asian League next week.
