hey guys, i'm sick and tired of resetting my ECU. The only thing I've done so far on it was removed the intake resonator but the damn OBDIIb keeps farcking things up for me. I'm fine when the engine is cold..lots of power...but as soon as it's warmed up then I feel a blank spot around 4krpm. Power and torque come back up when I hit VTEC at 5~5.5K rpm up until 7.5k rpm. soon as i shift gears it lands back in 4k zone where the torque is gone again until the VTEC kicks in at 5.5k rpm. If i reset the ECU (unplug batt for 30mins) then everything goes fine again..
i'm just too tired of doing this routine every 2 or so weeks. Is there any way to chip an OBDIIb? or am i better off swapping for an OBDI?

sounds like the ECU is pulling your timing, you might be hitting tons of knock with your current octane gas. No CEL codes?Originally Posted by Zerone_null
