why would you defend something if it really doesn't mean anything to you or if you don't care? if you value something and care then you'd do extra things to protect it from someone/something. so im kind of confuse why defend it if you will not gain anything from them.

doesn't mean anything vs. don't care, these are two different things. things may not mean something to you but you can still defend or protect it. for don't care, no "buts". (period)

"confuse why defend it if you will not gain anything from them." people defend because they really have something to gain, and that something is too personal and too deep to decipher, that even them can't explain it. im sure it's a certain feeling, but i don't know its source. is it the soul? who knows? But one thing is certain (or at least in my own observation), people who does this is 10x contended with life and happier.

additionally, the way i see it. it's a noble thing... he's certainly doing the right thing.

uhm that's why it's "OR".
he's been telling everyone he's not working with/associated with Q but he will quote each one who will say negative things about the company. logically, doesn't mean anything and don't care is the same. Why would you defend or protect something if it means something to you?
