Now this is why I disregard online anonymity. I use my real name whichever website I go to, so that I am obliged to watch what I say and be careful with how I communicate. It's just like, bringing your license-a representation of your true identity-wherever you go. Right now, I am sure I have made nobody no offense worthy of legal attention so I have not a bit of fear when bringing up old sh!t.

Internet will eventually be run by powerful people. Internet warriors are gonna have to face reality again. Internet isn't an alternate universe. The government is starting to take control of our little fantasy world. Democracy and lack of discipline aren't the same.

I think there is one way to keep that from happening: Make forum users take responsibility of their posts.
I use my real name simply because I don't acknowledge online anonymity. I knew one day our actions would come back to us, I just didn't know it was through government intervention.

Siguro if we were to expose our identity online, we'd be more cautious of our actions. Kaning mga Internet warriors, makita' kung tinuod ning isog LOL. Or maybe if our Istorya.net accounts were hooked up with our Facebook accounts, it would at least decrease the likeliness of going rogue online.

not when you're behind a plethora of proxies. Online anonymity is a good thing, especially after identity theft and online fraud became so rampant. Your anonymity is your armor. Now you put .onion/tor into the conversation--it's whole different story.

But if granted , who's going to pay for the airfare ? Would commercial planes allow a detainee on board ? Last time , Canada spent $375,000 to transport a murder suspect on a military plane from Germany because commercial planes would not allow him to be on board .
