Akong mga ganahan nga teams g kontra...

Pildi ang Nets with Devin Harris sitting out with a sore hamstring and Marion with back spasms...

G kilaw na pud si Wade ni Carter scoring 29pts 8rebs and 6asts (MVP type performance)

Carter managed 20pts 9rebs 6ast... Bsan score lang unta cya ug 27 daog unta cla ky 6 ra labaw sa Heat...

I guess the Nets missed Devin Harris' 23.6ppg more than the Heat missed Marion...

B'Easy scored 17pts and grabbed 7rebs 2stls 1blk with him playing 41:01 mins for the injured Marion and hitting 7-12 of his shots... NOT BAD!

MILAGRO! The incompetent retard Yi and Simmons scored in double figures with 13 and 19pts respectively...

If they can do this day in and day out with Harris back in the line-up, the Nets would be way beyond the 50% mark...

My idol Danny Granger scored a game high 35pts in a win againts the Kings with all of Indiana's starters scoring in double figures...

The pathetically underacheiving Rockets dropped another game againts the Hawks with the overgrown yellow weakling Yao only managing 16pts againts the undersized Hawks who was playing without Marvin Williams and the 2nd year soph Al Horford playing the 5 spot... Horford is only 6'10 245 mind you... Imagine the size difference againts the 7'6 310 chink...

At least give the Rockets an excuse that they played without their three reliable guys in Battier, McGrady and Artest. The Hawks were a defeat away from a deja vu performance vs. the Nets if not for Bibby's three that bailed them out.

I'll take this as a win is a win kind of thinking. I just love it when the Hawks are winning no matter how they finish the game. After all, a buzzer-beater is a sweet dagger.

any Houston fans here? Dikembe Mutombo is back with Houston. lisora aning injuries oi, tagak pirmi ang Rockets tungod sa injuries. lig-on kaayo pero di kumpleto pirmi.

di man pud siguro bai. McGrady, Battier, and Artest didn't play in that game. if you look at the box score, balanced ang duwa sa Houston. kung si Yao Ming lang ang ilang gisaligan, lubong na unta kaayo sila sa Hawks. Yao just took 12 attempts and was actually a factor in the game, 15 rebounds si Yao Ming. di lang gyud to para ilaha nga duwa.

That is a bit hard on the Rockets for calling them "pathetically underachieving" since they were actually doing good at the start of the season but came tumbling after a series of injuries from its go-to players. It's somewhat amusing for someone to call them underachieving when the fact is that they are one of toughest in the league when everyone is healthy.

Because, for me, it's alright to label them "pathetically underachieving" if they are healthy/good on paper yet they fail to win games.

The "overgrown yellow weakling" Yao Ming you were talking about did his thing, but the Hawks were able to figure out how to defend him that's why he was not able to dominate pretty much. Plus most people think the Rockets are going to get blown out because they don't have their star players. Instead, Von Wafer, Luis Scola and Rafer Alston stood their ground for that thrilling game.

They competed with their injury-plagued lineup. That's why I don't find it pathetic.

I just think and believe that if Yao could have wanted to, he could have dominated the undersized Hawks... Heck, if he can score 30+ againts a Tim Duncan, why couldn't he do it on an Al Horford... Double team or not, I think he is still capable of scoring at least 20 with a team who doesn't even have a 7 footer on their line-up especially with JJ on a slump averaging 14pts on his last 2 games...

The fact that they don't have McGrady and Artest means that Yao NEEDS to step up and up his game a notch! Superstars like LeBron, Duncan and Rapist can and will if they have to day in and day out... Where was the Yao who averaged 24ppg and 12rpg a couple of season ago? He can still manage that if he wants to, and I really believe he can! Where was the Yao who outplayed Dwight Howard earlier this season

Ey, I used to believe in the Rockets to be a powerhouse but after dropping a couple of games to mediocre teams, I don't think they can even compete againts the Spurs, Blazers or Lakers... G lisod man gali cla ug Raptors without Jermaine and losing to the Wiz...

Yeah I know they're playing hurt and that is the sad part because a lot expected them to be in full force with a healthy McGrady and Yao playing alongside a Ron Artest...

McGrady and Yao are made of glass I tell ya'... FRAGILE!

Teams like the Rockets look good on paper but are not performing the way many expected them to...

That is why "I" consider them "underacheiving"...

I'll say this, and boldly make a prediction, even with a McGrady, Yao and Artest they still cannot make it past the first round this playoffs... 2 seasons ago, with a healthy McGrady and Yao, they were eliminated by a Jazz team with a very raw and inexperienced Deron Williams...

Maypa ang Jazz, even without a Carlos Boozer, they are still winning games... Maypa and Spurs, even if they started the season without Manu and TP, they were still winning game...

Now those teams have Testicular fortitude(a euphemism of "Balls")!!!

Yao and McGrady are just not big time players who deliver "The goods" when the team needs it the most...

    But hey, that's my take...

LeBron was right on that interview on his 24th birthday...

Indeed some players DO NOT DESERVE TO be voted as starters in the All-Star game... Ehem... Yao, McGrady, Iverson, Garnett... Ehem...

I'd go for Bosh, Harris and Paul all day againts these guys...

Well Yao is definitely not one of those guys you mentioned with the Lebrones, Wades and Rapists of the world. He definitely still has that 24ppg/12rpg you mentioned but will it not be enough that tonight was just not his night?

The other guys stepped up (Wafer, Alston, Scola, etc.) to take the game to the wire and they did just that. Nothing to complain really after missing Tmac, Artest and Battier.

Besides, Yao, for the most part, has been huge in the most fourth quarters he played in, better than Duncan, Nowitzki, Nash, Iverson, Pierce, Stoudemire, etc. But then again, tonight's not his night.

Sortable NBA Player by Quarter stats

Sure, the Atlanta Hawks are one of those mediocre teams you are referring to. I'll give you that.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure the Rockets are a tough match-up when the playoffs come in. I don't think one can judge a team's capability by judging them when they're on a slump and are not healthy.

I concur on this one. I can't believe Yi's got more votes than Chris Bosh, Danny Granger and Josh Smith. I guess this is all about being popular then.

Even Gilbert Arenas has more votes than Joe Johnson when he is not even playing.

They should change it from NBA All-Star Game to NBA All-Popular Game then.

Eeeyyyy I never said the Hawks are mediocre! Hehehehehe

I LOVE THE HAWKS!!! I idolize J-Smoove and have been echoing my support for ATL since last season when they almost upset the Celts... I even claimed to be "J-Smoove's #1 fan" when he whooped Garnett's charcoal black a** with that clutch block!

I also think that guys like JJ should get more votes coz he's been a stud these couple of months!

Guys like JJ, Devin Harris, Danny Granger, Chris Bosh, Antawn Jamison, Stephen Jackson and Deron Williams are underrated and SHOULD deserve more votes!

Bibby also has been rejuvinated playing alongside J-Smoove, JJ, Horford the Horrible and Marvin Williams...

Atlanta is a cool, young and exciting team and those are the teams I'am irresitibly drawn to...

Athletic players who play the D like J-Smoove and Gerald Wallace also tops my list...

Their starting five confuses me though...

I think they start Marvin Williams, Al Horford and J-Smoove up front with JJ and Bibby in the backcourt... Small yet uptempo line-up... I think the Heat should emulate the Hawks since ATL has been quite successful in their campaign this season minus Josh Childress...

    Aaah jeezz... I miss Chill!!!

Well, Woodson likes to shuffle the line-up but not really a lot. Tonight, he started Maurice Evans over Marvin Williams, who is injured. Sometimes, he starts Pachulia over Horford in the 5 to provide sparks from the bench with Flip Murray and Evans.
