PS I'd like to see what's in Miriam's peso and dollar accounts. That would be the icing on the cake.. cos this person has been screaming like a turd about corruption when she was running for president against Ramos and if everyone saw how much undeclared assets she has that would make her the biggest hypocrite this country ever had. After calling all the other senators hypocrites, if she's shown to be the biggest hypocrite of all that would really make my day. So many people are saying that the removal of Corona is the first step in ridding the Government of corrupt officials. I'm just wondering, can they not investigate/prosecute the crocs in the dpwh/customs/bir etc. while corona was in office? Was Corona protecting them? PNoy has been president for almost 2 years now and no customs or bir official has been sent to jail yet, are they saying it's because corona was the CJ? I don't really buy this "This is the first step" BS.

I think the folks you mention are mostly referring to the big fish such as Gloria. I know several govt departments were extremely nervous when Nonoy came to power expecting that there would be purges and although a few faces did change I haven't noticed any big difference, at least not in the way departments I tend to deal with operate.

In short it's not a first step, but it is a big step.
