Hopefully this is a start of something big and we can expand our chapter to rival that of ABA NCR and Davao...

We are calling all our members and Betta enthsiast in Cebu and the Visayas to help us in our endeavors because this is for all of us who greatly enjoy the hobby of Betta keeping...

Cebu might still be new to Betta keeping but I see promise in our chapter as I had observed first hand, the dedication and enthusiasm in all our members and members-to-be, as well as the zealous competitiveness in acquiring the best specimens they can grab a hold of...^^

Aside from that, Cebuanos have the talent and the creativity (not only limited to Betta keeping but in all aspects of life) of producing captivating and spectacular specimens of Betta Splendens...

I can guarantee the obvious promise in our hobby since the allure of Bettas can be very enticing and addictive as well as the magnanimous popularity, and the limitless fin-color variations that your imagination can think of, on this grumpy little jewels has on the International scene of Tropical Fish keeping to even rival that of Flowerhorns and Kois...

Our ultimate goal is to produce world class Bettas so that we can export our own products to the Western Hemisphere since Thailand, the mecca and place of origin of Bettas, cannot even satisfy the demand and market coming from Europe and Northern America...

Immediate goal is to raise the awareness of the Cebuanos especially the non-istoryans of an existing Betta organization here in Cebu through Betta shows and exhibits starting next week where we would display our best self-bred specimens on our sponsor petshops and some juvenile Bettas from ABA members of ABA Davao would be for sale to newbies and enthusiasts and by holding a first ever All-Betta Show by November on a venue that is ideal for marketing and promotion of our hobby...

By next year, we can hold a competitive show including entries from Luzon and Mindanao with the support and sponsorship of our ABA brothers from Luzon and Mindanao...

We ABA officers cannot do this on our own, we need the help and support of all Betta lovers in Cebu to make our organization grow...

To our sponsors, we promise to bring your name on all our activites, shows and exhibits to help advertise your shop... Hopefully, we could mutually benefit from each other... I won't guarantee anything yet but if we do make it big time, you would be right there beside us...

Basa lang sa internet for tips or mag post lang ko dri nga thread ug articles 'bout Betta keeping...

Failure in spawning happens to the best breeders, dli ka angay ma discourage, try lang jud until you get it right... Si Jesse gali, days after his first spawn, nka spawn na pud iyang usa ka pair...

It's easy once you get it right...

Pero once in a while nia jud Betta nga boangon... Ma challenge jud imung ingenuity hehehehe... If dli jud makaya, hala e baligya o e cull...^^

Sakto si Master Nev nga the most valuable tool in aiding you for a successful breeding is EXPERIENCE...

95% experience and patience, 5% luck...^^

para pud master ba dili mingawon ang inyo isda sa inyo. kay basin maanad na sila sa ako, nah delicado basin dili na nacla mokuyog sa inyo balik. hehehe
