it was not the brilliance of the prosecution team that had the great influence of the verdict coz from the start there was none. it was the admission of CJ's on his deposits that did it to him. it was really a wrong move on the defense to present CJ in the IC. when CJ admitted those deposits all those mystical creatures like the small lady, postmaster and etc ky nawala na ssa eksina. plus the walk out drama that started it all. CJ did this to himself.
what is there for the defense to defend if the accused admitted such irregularity?

I am not a pro nor anti-Corona.
No matter who sits as president it has always been like that. The reason is that once the Chief Justice retires the president will get 5 names of people recommened from th JBL. Usually ilang ma present pro dyd sa present administration.
In regards to corruption. Everyone in public office is corrupt ang issue lang is magpasakop ba ka or dili. Malas lang sa masakpan nga wala mo side sa administration kay tangtang dyd like ni corona.
Mau na akong biliban ni chavit singson maski kinsa na presidente kabalo dyd siya mo pa pwesto nga di siya ma issue hehehehehe
world bank loan...
World Bank bares Supreme Court misuse of loan for judiciary reform | Inquirer News
The World Bank has uncovered questionable procurements and disbursements by the Supreme Court under the watch of Chief Justice Renato Corona in connection with the bank-funded Judicial Reform Support Project (JRSP).
The project, partly funded by a World Bank loan of $21.9 million (P945 million at an exchange rate of P42.50 to US$1), was designed to restore efficiency in the dispensation of justice in the country.
In an aide memoire dated December 28, 2011, the bank said since Corona assumed the post of chief magistrate in mid-2010, progress in reforming the judiciary “has been rated unsatisfactory,” with the program having to grapple with “implementation delays and the additional work required for smooth project closing.”

Karon nga si CJ kay na convict, unsa man ang penalty..i think wala naghisgot ang impeachment court ug penalty..
under constitution removal from the office ug di na pwede kapwesto in any government offices
Section 7, Article 11 of the 1987 Constitution states that judgment in impeachment cases “shall not extend further than removal from office and disqualification to hold any office,”
