Besides, I am very interested with how it would come out-- especially with the Cebuano culture and all (call it a personal interest as well). I will be doing my research as well on this and if I do get something, I'll let you know. Maybe it can be of use in your project.
So anyway, best of luck to your goal! Well, if we won't do the pushing, I'm sure fate will.... There are a lot of Accounting stories yet to taunt you. hehehehe...
Thanks! I had some progress during the Christmas break. Btw, the project you are mentioning--would my effort fall within its scope? Is it submittable?
Here are the outlines I came up with. I plan to use my own experiences and the experiences and history of friends and relatives as "templates" for the histories (tapolan ko mag research...). Could I ask for your help to see whether the histories of my characters are realistic (e.g., their lifestyles, biases, ages, etc.). For instance, I don't know of any ancestor who belong to the late 19th century urban bourgeoisie of Cebu (my main character's paternal grand-mother is supposed to be so). If you have ancestors with this background, perhaps you can share their history
Here's a mindmap. I don't see it in the preview, so in case it does not show, here's the link:
