The conclusion of CJ Renato Corona's impeachment trial is a wake-up call for Noynoy Aquino's administration to address the systematic corruption in the government that is to amend or revise entirely the 1987 Constitution which tolerates or even encourages the massive corruption in the government to proliferate from both sides of politics for the last 26 years.

Regarding history bro.. I remember how Miriam acted like it would be the end of the world if we opened the bank records of J. Pidal because she implied that her then master, J Estrada was innocent of his crimes. Then he was convicted later on by the Sandiganbayan and the Supreme Court. If history should judge her, how'd she do? I reckon we have too short memories, that's why the people I see here supporting her make me sick. Legalism and literal interpretations ain't gonna save this country from corruption.

Rule of law requires us to uphold the spirit not just the letter of the law...

If there's one thing good about her it's her consistency, she's loyal to her masters till the end.

Politics is a dirty business.... you make friends with someone, next time you know, you already enemies and in a different teams already...

I agree to the fact that politics is much akin to showbusiness... politicians are like actors, they strut their stuff in the court.. cry, act and laugh.. then make themselves fatter at the expense of the people's money (with their showbiz antics)

The prosecutions, the accusing senators, Ninoy, the defense panels and Corona are just actors in their own rights...

they play their roles but each one acts according to what roles they are designated and assigned.
