I read a few of the posts of this merged thread. Lanog kaayo ang sentimiento sa kadaghanan sa mga Mandauehanon. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Every week, the Ouano camp never fail to come up with concocted stories from poor college grades to planned assassination. UNSWA?!?!?!? Reading those stupid news is very tiresome. Unless im too bored and desperately needs a shallow form of entertainment.

The Ouano camp is always quick to throw mud at Jonas. Understandably so. They are neck-deep in mud, they need to unload otherwise they will drown in their own filth. Nonetheless, there is no need for Jonas to dignify such despicable acts of lesser mortals. The sorry state of our city speaks of the kind of people who ran it for 18 long horrible years - from the father, to the son..... and god forbid, the Hollie Jollibee.

Jonkie claims to be a respiratory therapist. Can he resuscitate the failing lungs of the city?

carlo is worried about eric's candidacy because people might think carlo is the one running for mayor. this means that votes for carlo as vice mayor might go to the fortuna running for mayor.

I dont think voters are stupid enough to wonder why the two fortunas is present in both positions, of course they will look for Carlo's name. The truth is voters might think that Eric might be as good as Carlo then he will eat Jonkie's votes..

carlo was the first choice for jonkie. but gibutang sya sa sideline and was made canddiate for pb because the ouanos were still choosing between jonas and glenn. when jonas and glenn decided to form their own party, carlo was taken back in as vice mayoral candidate? remember that it took a while before jonkie announced his runningmate? that was the time they were still deciding who to field for vice mayor.

I dont think so, Carlo placed fourth behind Bercede and Cortes last election. Even with Jonas not as "vocal" as Carlo in the City council, he is getting lots of votes.
And it doesnt take a calculator who would you gonna choice to strengthen your vote..the one with the most resolutions or the one who topped the polls..do your math..

on the deadline of the filing of coc, lolita ouano filed her coc first and edgar cortes filed his just 5 minutes later.
a source said that gujilde already noticed that lolita and edgar were just waiting as to who will make the first move. meaning, nag inatangay lang sa comelec office.
it doesn't take a rocket scientist to analyze that lolita and edgar are part of a strategy of both jonas and jonkie camps.

Ever notice Edgar Cortes suddenly nicknamed himself "Jon" since his father used to call him when he was a toddler and his Vice mayor and councilor are from MCC where the school president issued the statement to rally behind Jonkie ...And where is Lolita now As I said , she was there to make Edgars filing not so pretty obvious...

let's cut gujilde a little slack.
ang naka inutil sa comelec office is that the local/provincial election officer could only receive the coc's filed before him. it is the central office in manila that decides who is fit to run for public office. unfortunately, only two divisions in the comelec is handling all disqualification cases in the whole country.

Its like your saying to give Virgillio Garcillano a break , this is what is sickening in our electoral system because even the Election officers cant impose their rules..
Its not an excuse nga daghan ra kaayo sila og trabaho, besides they only get very busy during polls...
