going back to the thread, may be this a lesson to everyone. That though we have laws to follow, humanitarian acts will always be in the situation. And in this case, it is best to follow what is for the greater good. Not just for the sake of stroking his ego simply because he has the paperwork.

To be a good leader, first be a good follower...
