thanks bai Neshem... ang hens sab kay naa ni kaliwat sab orange since one of the hens was already the produce early last year and this came from a yellow hen, yellow cock. ang mga igsoon niya kay nanggawas sab ug orange... so naa sa genetics niani nila siguro ang bloodline from an orange hen or cock...

ang usa sab ka chick nga ni-fledge na kay naa sab streaks of white feather sa iyahang cheeks... basin naa sab kaliwat white Canary sab siguro sila. So far wala naman nawala ang white cheek markings sa first chick nga si Palos. Used a pendulum sexing technique ug ang nilabas kay hen man ang chick.

the two chick on the top picture is visual yellow on camera pero if makita ninyo sa actual plumage nila, mga orange pero light lang kaayo ilahang colors for now. maybe after complete na ang ilahang molting, makita na gyud ang tunay na color nila. im color feeding them with carrots, papprica, red egg food, apples para ang ilahang plumage mogawas gyud ang best color nila nga orange.

good news mga kaibon. start na ug hatch ang 3 fertile eggs from one of the hens. only 1 palang ang ni-hatch this morning. schedule to complete is karon Friday na pohon tanan. crossing my fingers.

nindot gyud unta na bai kun maka-breed kana sa mga Canarys nimo. so far, nabuligan ko ug mga hatchlings karong season sab, just like last time. checked ganina nga ni hatch na-gyud ang usa ka eggs nasab, so 2 out of 3 nga akong gipaabot sab. next niani akong papahulayon na ang hen para maka-recover siya from a stressful rearing of her chicks. hopefully mo hatch na ang last egg today or tomorrow para game na.

Update Lang: successfully na hatch gyud ang third egg yesterday. Hatched na ang three eggs and so far so good. Have 2 more fertile to go from another hen. Maybe next week na kini mo-hatch ang egg
