I've learned that there are basically two kinds of people.

The usual person wants a job in order to live.

The less common person is one that wants to live to do a job.

Seeing this, it's almost certain that there are people out there, of the first variety, nga kung pwede lang, dili motrabaho, and just earn money (i.e. business). This is not saying that business doesn't require a lot of effort, but effort in this case is seen as something nga maka-pa-down or depressed sa tawo--a negative concept. My dad used to tell me this joke, na kung pwede lang, a shrewd businessman's "dream" deal is one that involves covering your eyes, taking your money from your pocket, without you ever knowing what the hell happened.

On the other hand, people who want to live to do a job, aren't also doing it purely for the sake of the job. They also need to survive...but here lies the difference...they want to survive because they live for the job--they like it so much they want to keep on doing it for as long as they can.

Sadly, we live in a world wherein most people are category A rather than category B. I personally believe this is the reason why the world is such a miserable place to live in.
