Even though you installed the game on the hard drive, it still requires the game disc at start just to check that you actually have a valid copy of the game. Once that's verified, the game will then be running from the hard drive making your 360 quieter since it's no longer accessing the DVD drive all the time.

You might say this is a stupid idea, but if you think bout it.... if it didn't do that disc verification.... then no one would be buying 360 games. Everyone will just be renting them or borrowing them since they can easily just install it on their hard drive without much fuss. For Microsoft, that's not good business is it?

cxtknight-kelangan pa nimo update to NXE ang imo dashboard bro para maka-install ka. Nag-assume ko nga NXE nana imo board kay bag-o ra nimo napalit imo 360.

modded naman daw ni part kay didto mani pamod sa gawas, aq nainstall pwo ask gehapon sa disk, pwo naa ingon nga ani lng sah daw ni pwo mawala ra kadugayan

Everytime mo duwa ka og game brod kinanglan jud ang disk bisan gi-install na nimo. Di na parehas PC nga ig human nimo install pwede na nimo taguan ang disc. Ang purpose ra anang pag-install nimo sa 360 game sa HD kay para mupaspas ang loading times sa duwa or sometimes monindot ang graphics og ang pinakinindot nga advantage kung imo i-install ang game kay dili na kaayo muinit ang imo 360 kay di naman gamiton ang disk drive so likay 3RL.

mga master naa ko pangutana...ok ba ang xbox 360 na elite version, falcon ang chipset, ang mfg date kay 2008-06-10, safe ra ni sa 3rl mga master?

sa graphics asa gyud ang much better in terms of multi-platform games kay naa ko ps3 and planning to get xbox 360. salamat mga master
