experience is deadlier than any martial art
And Ninjas were the only assassins that can face the most elite soldier of Japanese empires, the Samurai's.
Assassins, yes, but soldiers no. Most of them are bodyguards of a shogun or higher ranking official(s). they are assigned to kill and protect their employers.
IMHO, it's still the person who carries the art (skills, talents, guts, fearless... etc.. ) not the art carries the person that makes it dangerous. Ninjitsu, muay thai, aikido, eskrima, kung fu and japanese martial arts are just arts... they don't harm unless people who trained into these arts. Example, if there is a .45 caliber on the table, loaded with bullets... can it harm you? would it fire and kill? NO... unless someone who uses it, then it's dangerous. Therefore, naa ra sa tawo ang mogamit sa martial arts.
