actually the new iOS7 UI looks ugly which is not i would normally describe a typical Apple UI
they redesigned it to ape some of the Android and Windows features (which is good for them)
but then they sacrificed the unification of the entire UI system with some garish icons and confusing design implementations. one moment it looks flat, then it looks like a UI for a toy phone with its overcolored icons, then it looks like some Windows Vista reject, and then a rainbow frosted glass pane, then rounded square icons, then purely circular icons, etc
they were supposed to be aiming for going flatter in the design but the semifinal product looks like a messy mish-mash of every OS out there
of course iPhonetards will embrace it though as if this was a new innovation from Apple
