I guess we don't agree on that either. The way I see it, I defend BOTH the spirit and lette rof the law while you defend neither. Oh well...Originally Posted by Gwynhuever

I would think that a priest grounded by marriage and fatherhood would be a more effective "father" to the flock, don't you think?Originally Posted by mannyamador

I dont agree. Being a spiritual Father and a temporal father are two differnt things. The priest have lesser baggages to carry because he has no family to think of. He can concentrate more on the spiritual needs of his flock. I dont think the Catholic priest have inferior knowledge when it comes to practical happenings of a married life. Im sure they have studied it well in the seminary.Originally Posted by weedmeister2
I have nothing against Protestant pastors. They are good people and they are dedicated husbands. But for me to become a priest I prefer to journey alone. I consecrate then my life entirely to God and to his flock.
No. That would tie them down to TWO full-time vocations.Originally Posted by weedmeister2
And you expect the Church to sacramentalize the sins of deviant pritests (who are AGAINST what the Church TEACHES)? What stupidity! It seems it is YOU who wishes to promote all these other deviant sexaul practices. You already do bai...
