Hi guys! Sa mga employees ng accenture dito na matagal na, please bigyan nyo naman po ako ng advice. Gusto ko na po kasi talaga umalis ng project. Naiopen ko naman na sa career counselor ko which is my team lead din, pero di pa rin ako inuupdate. ASE po ako ngayon at mag-iisang buwan ako sa 25 sa project. Maari ba na maroll-off ako? At paano? kanino ako dapat lalapit para maisikaso?
Ayoko po kasi ng shifting na sched. Tapos may pasok pa ng weekends wtf. Ayoko po masira ang tulog ko as well as yung social life ko(i mean hindi ko sila lagi makakausap/makakasama kasi magkakaiba na ng shift). Okay lang po sakin kahit sobrang aga pa ng pasok pero ayoko po ng tanghali o gabi kahit pa po may night diff pa. At gusto ko rin maging developer(support role po ako ngayon) dahil gusto ko mahasa lalo programming skills ko at balita ko regular/flexi daw ang sched sa dev.
Please guys help huhu ayoko na po magtagal sa project na ito. Sobrang bigat ng loob ko sa tuwing papasok. Lagi na lang nasa isip ko ang mga lines tulad nito "bakit si ganito at si ganyan nasa developer role, bakit ako hindi", "bakit ba ko nandito", "gusto ko na lang maglaho". By next week kasama na ko sa shifting sched huhu.
Kung di po talaga possible maroll-off, resign na po ba ako? Di ko talaga. Ang alam ko lang talaga ay ang gusto ko maging software developer, mapa-web dev or app dev man. Dahil ayun ang gusto ko hindi maging support.

Try IJP, but you have to be with your current project for at least a year. As far as I know, ma roll off ka lang if you get redeployed for not being able to meet the performance metrics of your current project , or ; if another project directly hires you or by applying through internal job posting. I think you can request for a fixed schedule given that you are able to show them proof that would justify the reason for your request. (ex. Medical certificates, school records etc.)
When I was connected w/ Accenture as SSE, my kasama akong ASE na ganyan din yung problema. He loves programming but instead he was deployed to content development/migration project from Sharepoint to new platform. And the shift is also rotating. Overall, it's the opposite of his passion.
He also approached his career counselor and did request for roll-off but was declined due to manpower constraints. Instead of resigning/quitting, he took the initiative to improve his skills in web development by applying CSS and scripting to the contents which made it more dynamic and with animation. When he was rolled-off and deployed to another project as front-end developer, he already has stock knowledge on web dev concepts which is beneficial to his current project.
So my my take on this is if the project seems boring to you, try improving the process or automate it or add some colors to it. If the previous approaches are not applicable, then try mo mag research on current programming trends or practice coding given that you have finished the tasks ahead of deadline. Remember, you are blessed because you have a job. Yung iba nga, they keep on applying at Accenture pero still rejected. But if kung ayaw mo na talaga, then resign and look for better opportunity.![]()

Napagdesisyunan ko na magresign and nagpasa ako kanina thru email dahil work from home si supervisor. Ang nilagay kong resignation date is september 6 next week? Pwede ba iyon? Nilagay ko naman sa letter na pag-usapan pa namin in person para mas malinaw. Naiopen ko na rin ito sa tl ko lasg tuesday at naitanong ko na rin kung masusunod pa ba ang notice period na 30 days, and sabi nya sa case ko daw most likely hindi. Mas maaga daw, mga 1-2 weeks. Kaya 1 week ang nilagay ko.
