pnoize2k4, sorry it took me long to post a message nor did we get to grab a kup-a-joe. Been up to my balls in "RELATIVES" and "FRIENDS" get togethers. It seems that everyone in this island is some how related to one another. :8O: And about your question where from cali I crawled out of, sorry but I try not to give out any personal info through the net. Lets just say I've made some films that did not humor specific groups. Call it paranoia or what ever you may... Another thing, I do not see the need for me to answer your question about what camera I own. I do not see the relevance as to what you may gain from asking such. If it is to merrit my works then do not bother. It is not what equipment you use nor what you know, output is all that matters. And besides, I do not see the need for me to prove my self to you. After all, WHO ARE YOU TO ME? Think what you may..... it is a fools prerogative to utter truths that no other would speak, the manipulation of the truth and dissembling is a fools best weapon. Why do you think I did not correct you? It was through my respect (from the fact that I do not know you) for others. But there is already so much degratory facets of you that I can tell from your posts alone. I was merely waiting for you to see your own erroneous and iniquitous etiquette. Or atleast until someone conveys such to you. For it is not my place nor business to do such an insubstantial task. I do not dare burden myself with such trivial onus.

I did a little research and judging from your in-depth technical knowledge and from the information you gave out to the public I pretty much got it narrowed down to only 1 candidate. As for sample films, most of what I've done now are merely technical exercises to confirm the theories.

I'm working on some scripts now (adapting existing stories for I am a terrible screenwriter) hopefully these films will be finished in time for next year's Sine Ug Katilingban.

BTW, if you were watching free broadcast television a year or 2 ago, I'm sure you've seen some of the commercials that I've worked on.

Anyway, here's an info I wanna share for audio production.

On productions with no external microphones available, an extra video camera (of whatever format) will be a possible solution. I'm sure there are lots of outdated cameras around Cebu that indies can borrow.

This extra camera will be dedicated for audio recording and hidden behind talents while its cam mic is pointed to the talking person. Hiding won't be a problem when doing OTS shots as the person near the camera can easily cover it.

On situations where hiding is impossible, you can put the extra camera on a monopod or tape it to a pole and use it like a shotgun mic.

During this shoot, proper slating techniques would be necessary cause you have 2 cameras shooting, 1 for video and the other for audio. Otherwise, you would have problems during post prod. I've done this on some documentaries with a digital8 camcorder recording audio and it worked fine.

Please share your ways of doing things so we may learn from each other.

Where? When he told me that 29.97 is also progressive in NTSC... That's where I learned something and how the hell was I supposed to find out that it's both interlaced and progressive.

Post your works then. Perhaps in streaming format do you have them on I FILM or ATOM FILMS or UNDERGROUNDFILM.ORG ... I wasn't saying you have to prove yourself. It will be fun.

Unless, I am underestimating you then you must have movies from FOX 2000, TCF, Universal or Paramount.

I am just curious as to what camera you own. It won't merit your works. Besides if you are wealthy enough I'm sure you own a camera with parameters just begging to be used.

If he's been to SINE UG KATLINGBAN, and reading what the Dominion has said here if I connect 2 and 2 together I reckon angry liar is Mr. T am I right? But I dunno if he's Mr. T or not. If he is then DOMINION must be a very sharp cookie, is he who you're talking about?
