this speech influenced me so much...it taught me how to take the initiative, how not to be afraid of challenges and how to seize the game by taking the lead and staying there...
you need to change your paradigm...a capital does not have to be cash...it can be talent, skill or character...before maybe different from now, but believe me, the factors and conditions are still similar...this is why old books like the Bible and the Art of War are still great sources of inspiration and guidance even if they were written thousands of years ago...
Proof that with hard work, talent and sacrifice anything is possible. There is something to be learned there for people who just want easy money and keep complaining that the odds are stacked against them. There's something there too for people who keep thinking the government and taxpayers should just provide them with everything: free education, free housing, free everything. It is better to be a human being, working hard to accomplish things for oneself than to be a parasite and expect others to do the work so we can enjoy life.

One of my office mates emailed this speech to me today and I wanted more people to read this as it is truly inspiring. Instead of making a new thread, I will bump this up.
He had a vision that he knew the Filipino people would embrace, and he fought for it despite the odds against him.
I'm not into business pero his principles can be applied to other aspects in our lives.
LOL ... I know you're banned pero I am pretty sure you have a "clone" account up already and posting here so I'm gonna this:
If the successful people had your mentality to begin with, there wouldn't be any success stories to read.
