This still won't come to reality if corrupt ang (almost) government officials. Kung tarungon nila ug gamit ang kwarta sa mga tao, mo.improve gyud ang atong country and more invertor will come, thus kung ang country is ok ang economy, syempre modako gyud ang labor cost.

There are many ways to look at this issue:
    1. Without Hyperwage Theory, we have done all we can for the last 40 to 50 years to become a rich country but according to govt statistics there more more POOR people every year. Therefore, what we have been doing is NOT correct. Are you going to do the same thing over and over again, year in and year out, and expect a different result?

go to nso website for statistics on poverty.

Any student would tell you, that is not the right way to do things. Repetition and expecting a different result.

    2. You, yes, you, suppose your company will pay you P40T per month as a increase (old salary P20T) next month, will you say, sorry I will NOt accept this because it will cause inflation? Hypocrisy for those who are against hyperwage.

    3. The minimum wage is only P260/day, and yet why is it that companies are paying some employees P10T and P20T for supervisors, and P30T for manager, when these companies are only legally required to pay P260 per day as min. wage? Are these companies stupid for paying the manager higher than minimum waGE. oR are these companies able to afford payment above min. wage. So if they can pay P30T for a manager, when in fact the law only requires around P6 to P8t as min. wage, then they can really afford!

    4. I read this from the Hyperwage Book, why is Jollibee in USA when the wages there are 1,000% more? So wages is not the main factor. It is the consumer who can afford to pay that matters.

    5. If you are against Hyperwage, it is because you dont understand teh theory or is it bec you feel like you are a hero protecting the companies?

    6. When companies buy computers why do they buy at world market price? These companies pay the world market price for
    - aircon
    - computers
    - machinery
    - eqpt
    - cars
    - paint
    - oil
    - textile
    - all things that are needed for their operations

and yet, as the book says, they are not willing to pay world market price for LABOR?

    6. Those who are against Hyperwage do not know what they are talking about. They think they are bright and pretend to protect the companies and the workers.. Please DON'T. dont try to be a hero by pretending to protect the janitors and helpers. STOP.!!! Let these workers accept the high pay and you get your own pay anyway.. so STOP.

Why will companies lose profits when
    - maids will have P20T per month to spend \
    - teachers will have P80T to spend
    - managers will have P200T to spend?

You are not being logical my friend. YOU HAVE NOT READ THE BOOK.

all wages are actualy accounted for by the govt national accounting systems as INCOME (not expenses)

You only see one side of the coin.

Suddenly, the entire country have so much money ot buy goods and you are talking about losing profits?

You arent a businessman, are you?

I heard, some companies always pay lesser taxes to the gov't .. if they hire more people, the gov't will be able to collect more taxes from the companies' employees. explaining that companies can pay less taxes than the employees.

I also heard from someone that some companies issue different Official receipts. that means they're hiding their true profits and gains and avoiding the exact amount of tax collections. that might result to a higher tax(VAT) in the future. coz the gov't only gets few money from taxes.

    some companies are corrupt, too.

but does it matter if you pay the exact tax amount for the gov't, yet the tax your paying ends up in other peoples' pockets? the situation is really sad. but if you don't pay the right amount, the gov't will soon ask another round for additional taxes in the future... for their pockets. the situation will soon gets worse.

    B) workers will have the ability to buy more goods and services in the market if they have higher pay. it may mean more trade. and more trade will result to higher demands of goods and services.

I don't believe that our gov't is poor. they collect a lot of taxes.. if you compute how much taxes they will be able to collect in a single fast food chain like jollibee in a month or in a year.
and what's worse, the gov't still borrows money from the world bank. that means, what's left for juan de la cruz, is to rely only for the low labor the company he works for can offer, coz the gov't can't provide some juan's needs.

    To summarize:
the some ppl in the gov't
    - is asking taxes (or higher tax rates) for funds;
    - borrows money in the world bank regularly;
    - use the people's money to other means
    - make juan to go work very hard
    - has really lots of money

    that some companies:
    - cheats on their taxes
    - pays juan really low
    - have some money and savings coz they were able to spend less, and monetize much

    juan de la cruz
    - gets hungry coz juan can't afford too much
    - was asked higher taxes
    - does'nt have much money
    - sometimes juan just can't save much coz juan wants more material stuff; either by great advertising, or juan just want it, aand, juan pays higher prices of goods and services

it's too much corruption makes us poor.

the truth is, a low paying wage and corruption is really making difficult for juan to rise.
sooner or later, naked juan-the-worker might work for free just to eat and buy stuffs. I just hope that's not gonna happen. maybe it's not gonna happen. businessmen will complain. they'll just ask you to swipe your credit card. just go to work juan.

I don't know but, Is having more money(more wage) the real solution?

The difficulty lies, not in the new ideas, but in escaping from the old ones.

for everyone following this thread, I suggest you read the Hyperwage Theory. The author is proposing a single ultimate solution to eliminate poverty- and not only that- it also eliminates other non-economical issues like political corruption, broken families, OFW hardships, poor education, moral degradation, etc.

I am pro-Hyperwage because I fully understood it and just like the author, I want a better Philippines, not for me but for my kids and the generations to come. I am even thinking of creating a Hyperwage Advocacy just so I can spread this brilliant idea of solving our present problems. That there is still a solution to our problems. That there is still hope. I always believe in the adage " There are no hopeless situations only people who have gone hopeless over them."

For those of you out there who are thinks our country is hopeless, I pity you and your kids who will feel the burden of despair that you carry.
For those of you who are NOT serious of helping our country, I hope you come to your senses.

I am not an example of a perfect Filipino, but I always am thinking of how to improve our country even if I dont enter into politics.

This Hyperwage thing is a well-thought of concept. With my years of experience in my job and with my educational background, I believe this Hyperwage Theory does make sense and is doable.
